In a recent press release from the Moriki Emirate Council, HRH Alhaji Bashar Ismaila Moriki, the Emir of Moriki, urged the residents of Moriki Emirate to prioritize peace and unity for the advancement of the Emirate, Zamfara state, and the entire nation of Nigeria.
The call was made during the opening speech at this year’s Tafsir at the Moriki Juma’at Mosque 1.
Emphasizing the significance of unity, the Emir called upon the people to support each other economically, disregarding social distinctions, especially during the prevailing economic challenges affecting not just Zamfara state but the entire nation.
HRH Alhaji Bashar Ismaila Moriki stressed the need for increased prayers during the holy month of Ramadan, seeking an immediate end to the insecurity prevalent in Zamfara.
