CIPM inaugurates new executives in Kebbi

The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) of Nigeria has inaugurated a new executive committee in Kebbi State.

President and Chairman of the governing council of the CIPM of Nigeria Mr Olusegun Mojeed in an opening remarks expressed his appreciation to the founding fathers and past leaders who led the foundation of the institute that they are proud of today.

New excos while taking oath of office at Na’amo Abdullahi conference Hall, Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi-State.

“As a regulatory and management body for the practice of human resource management in Nigeria, the need to have a footprint across all the geopolitical zones in Nigeria is a top priority for us.” He said.

Also speaking at the inauguration ceremony, The special Guest of honour who is also the kebbi state Head of service Alhaji Sufiyanu Garba Bena, Described the inauguration of the CIPM kebbi state chapter as timely especially when the present Administration of Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir idris is set to reposition the civil service for better service delivery in the state.

Bena who was represented by the permanent secretary Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Hajia Aisha M. Usman stated that Kebbi state was ever ready to partner with any organisation that is into skills and capacity enhancement for the overall development of the state.

In His acceptance speech, the new Chairman of the CIPM kebbi state chapter, Alhaji Alhassan Yusuf called on the new executives and members of the institute to accord him all necessary support and cooperation to achieve the mandate of his new office and to as well promote the ideals of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.

“When I came to this state five years ago, the first thing I noticed was the quality of young men and women that I found in this state, with determination to learn and determination to move forward.” He revealed 

He therefore assured the Royal Fathers, the state Head of service and the people of Kebbi that they are going to make a difference during their tenure, solicites for their support and prayers to excel.
