Kaura Namoda Emirate gets additional districts, turbans title holders

Kaura Namoda Emirate in Zamfara state has Turbaned two new district heads in addition to the existing 19 districts as approved by the state government.

His Royal Highness the Emir of Kaura Namoda Alh Sanusi Muhammad Ahmad Asha who Turbaned the Two additional district heads and three other traditional title holders in his emirate said the new district will further bring people close and operation of the emirate.

The Two newly turbaned district heads include Alh. Abdulkadir Ahmad Asha II, district head of the Kaura Namoda, South East, that is, Magizawa/Fagoji and Alh. Samaila Moyi, District Head of Barayar Zaki in Kaura Namoda.

Other traditional title holders turbaned were Alh Nafi’u Dr Dalhatu Sule as Dallatun Kaura Namoda; Jamilu S/Makera, Sarkin Makeran Kauran Namoda and Mai Zawiyya Malam Idris as Sarkin Askin Kaura Namoda.

Their appointment and Turbaning followed the approval of Zamfara State Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle.

Senator Tijjani Yahaya Tafidan Kaura Namoda represented the Governor at the Turbaning ceremony of the chiefs and he urged them to be truthful, ensure justice, unity and development of their respective communities.

In attendance during the Turbaning ceremony were Senator Sahabi Alhaji Ya’u; their Royal Highnesses the emir of Moriki Alh. Bashar Ismail Ari, Emir of Zurmi Alh. Bello Sulaiman and the Emir of Shinkafi, Alh. Muhammadu Makwashi Isah.

Others were the representative of emirs of Anka and Birnin Magaji , Zamfara State Grand Khadi, Alh. Dahiru Muhammad and other personalities.
