Yazeed Care foundation has awarded a full-tuition scholarship to 200 female students to study different courses in the Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau.
During the distribution of the admission letters and payment receipts to the batch ‘A’ beneficiaries in Gusau today (Saturday) the Chairman of the scholarship committee, Comr. Yusuf MD says the gesture is aimed at encouraging girl-child education in Zamfara state.
“This is part of the initiatives of Hon Yazeed Danfulani to breach the education gap in Zamfara state, especially during these hard times,” the Chairman of the scholarship committee said.
“Our targets are female students only indigenous to Zamfara state who are left behind in terms of access to quality education,” he added.
Yazeed Care Foundation is being funded by a philanthropist and a former commissioner of the Zamfara state ministry of Commerce and Industry, Yazeed Shehu Danfulani.
