The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 725 personnel across the state to ensure a peaceful Eid-el-Adha celebration.

The State Commandant, CC Sani Mustapha, said the deployment is aimed at protecting lives and property before, during, and after the festivities.
According to him, NSCDC officers have been stationed at major Eid prayer grounds across all 14 local government areas in the state to maintain law and order.
He assured residents of the Corps’ professionalism and readiness to respond to any security threat throughout the festive period.
The Commandant also reaffirmed the NSCDC’s commitment under the leadership of Commandant General Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi to continue safeguarding the nation, especially in the fight against insecurity in Zamfara.
The deployment, he said, reflects the Corps’ proactive approach to securing public gatherings and promoting peaceful celebrations across the state.
