NSCDC inaugurates Civil Defence Officers’ wives association in Zamfara

The State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Zamfara State Command, Commandant Sani Mustapha has officially inaugurated the Civil Defence Officers’ Wives Association (CDOWA) Zamfara state chapter.

In a statement made available to SMARTS NEWS by the Civil Defence Public Relations Officer, CDPRO Zamfara State Command, SC Ikor Oche said the association held its inaugural meeting immediately after the inauguration with many members in attendance.

Commandant Sani Mustapha who introduced the State Chairperson of the Association Hajia Fatima Sani Mustapha, said that the essence of inaugurating the Association in Zamfara State was to bring the wives of Civil Defence Officers together to enable them fend for their husbands and encourage them to function properly in the discharge of their duties.

The State Commandant, Sani Mustapha called on the wives of Civil Defence Officers to come together to enable them achieve a common goal.

Speaking during the inauguration, the State Chairperson of CDOWA, Hajia Fatima Sani Mustapha urged the women to be supportive to their husbands and encourage them to put up their best in the discharge of their duties. 

She said that CDOWA has come to stay in Zamfara State and she will make every frantic effort to ensure that all it takes for the smooth running of the Association is made available.

Meanwhile, Hajia Fatima Sani Mustapha appreciates the motherly roles played by the National president of CDOWA, Mrs Aisha  Audi Abubakar Ahmed in ensuring that CDOWA thrives in the States.
