In a massive triumph over terror, operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) in collaboration with other security forces in Zamfara State have successfully rescued all four remaining kidnapped students of the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda, completely unhurt and without a single penny paid in ransom.
The students, comprising three boys and three girls, were kidnapped on June 3, 2026 from their off-campus rented accommodation in the Low-cost area of Kaura Namoda town when armed bandits stormed the building and seized six individuals.
Following the earlier release of two of the students, security forces launched a swift, intelligence-led operation, professionally engaging the captors to secure the safe return of the final four victims and bringing immense relief to the campus community and the nation at large.
