The Theatre Commander (TC) of Joint Task Force North-West Operation FANSAN YAMMA, Major General Oluyinka Soyele, has emphasized the importance of inter-agency cooperation in tackling security threats in the region.
During an operational visit to Headquarters Sector 1 of the operation in Kaduna, General Soyele was received by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 Division Nigerian Army and Commander Sector 1 OPFY, Major General Mayirenso Lander David Saraso.
The visit focused on sustaining pressure on terrorists, bandits, and criminals. General Saraso briefed the visiting commander on the successes and challenges faced by troops. He highlighted the need for continuous strategic coordination to secure the region effectively.
General Soyele commended the troops for their efforts in reducing crime and stressed the importance of working closely with other security agencies. He also called for sustained civil-military cooperation, including free medical outreach and educational support.
