Member of the House of Representatives for Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Abdulmalik Zubairu, has handed over the remodeled and refurbished Upper Shari’ah Court in Bungudu.
This was contained in a statement by Aminu Lawal Bungudu, Chief Spokesperson to the lawmaker, who said the project was part of efforts to improve judicial infrastructure in the constituency.
The remodeled facility includes a total overhaul of the court structure, construction of a mosque, fencing of the premises, and provision of furniture and equipment.
The APC Chairman of Bungudu Local Government, Alhaji Kabiru Lawal Dan Kulu, who represented the lawmaker at the ceremony, said the development would enhance quick dispensation of justice.
Hon. Zannan Bungudu congratulated the court authorities and the office of the State Grand Khadi on the achievement, urging them to safeguard the facility against vandalism.
The project was received on behalf of the State Grand Khadi by Chief Registrar Abdullahi Usman, assisted by Chief Inspector Shafi’i Ibrahim.
