The operations, which targeted camps in Zamfara and Sokoto States, also left Turji’s close allies, including his younger brother Dosso and key associate Danbokolo, critically injured.
Among the eliminated commanders were Abu Dan Shehu, Jabbi Dogo, Dan Kane, Basiru Yellow, Kabiru Gebe, Bello Buba, and Dan Inna Kahon-Saniya-Yafi-Bahaushe. Additionally, troops neutralized over 24 terrorists fleeing from Turji’s camps in Gebe and Isa Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Sokoto State and Gidan Rijiya in Shinkafi LGA of Zamfara State.
Suleiman, a loyalist of the late Halilu Sububu, was also killed while attempting to reinforce Turji’s forces at Fakai high ground.

The military described the development as a major blow to the group’s operational capabilities, noting their involvement in numerous kidnappings and attacks across Zurmi, Shinkafi, Isa, and Sabon Birni LGAs.
Efforts to completely dismantle the network are ongoing, with the military reiterating its commitment to ensuring the safety of citizens.
