NSCDC promotes 267 officers in Zamfara

The Zamfara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Sani Mustapha has decorated 267 officers serving under the command with their new ranks.

In a statement issued by the spokesperson of the command on Thursday in Gusau, SC Ikor Oche, says the affected officers were among the over 21,000 officers promoted by the NSCDC in 2023 nationwide.

While decorating the new officers, the state commandant has also charged them to justify the new feats that they have attained in the promotion by showing more commitment and dedication to duties that may be assigned to them.

“4 officers were promoted to the rank of Deputy Commandant of Corps, 2 officers to the  Rank of Assistant Commandants of Corps and 5 officers to the Rank of Chief Superintendent Corps.

Also, 27 officers were promoted to the Rank of Superintendent while 50 officers to the Rank of Deputy Superintendent of Corps.

The Corps also promoted 49 and 128 officers to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Corps 1 and 2  respectively, all in Zamfara State Command,” the statement says.

Immediately after the symbolic decorations the promoted officers were redeployed to their respective duty stations.
