On Thursday June 26, 2025 bandits in their large numbers stormed the Waramu community in Anka local government area in Zamfara state of Northwestern part of Nigeria, Killed some residents and set the community ablaze.
The bandits attacked the village and operated for over four hours (6pm to 10pm) and left several houses, food stores and many valuables destroyed.
An eyewitness whose name withheld for security reasons said the bandits have been killing, kidnapping and destroying properties of the residents around Anka and Bukkuyum local government areas for over a month now.
“We are neglected and left in the hands of bandits no one cares about our flight we are calling on the international communities to come to our rescue.” He lamented and appealed.
However, no official report from Securities or Government as regards the incident that rendered hundreds of people homeless.
