In his commitment to the security and safety of Corp Members deployed to Zamfara State, the Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Command CP Kolo Yusuf psc, today visited the Temporary site of the NYSC Orientation Camp at Science Secondary School, Gusau.
This was contained in a press release made available to SMARTS NEWS by the police public relations officer (PPRO) SP Mohammed Shehu.
SP Shehu explained that the visit of the Commissioner of Police was to assess and improve the existing security arrangements of the Camp with a view to ensuring safety and security of Corp Members and NYSC staff in the state.
The Commissioner of Police in his address to Corp Members assures them of Police continued commitment to their safety both in the camp and at their places of primary assessment.
The CP further enjoins them to be security conscious and report suspecious movement to the police or any security agency for prompt action.
On his part, the state NYSC Coordinator, Mallam Dan Mallam Mohammed appreciates the Commissioner of Police for his concern to corp members and promises more working collaboration with the Police and other security Agencies to safeguard lives and property of all the and NYSC staff in the state.
