Troops of operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD) deployed at Gummi axis in Zamfara state of northwestern Nigeria have in a successful operation killed several bandits last night.
The well coordinated operation took place at Daki Takwas -Zugu- Danmarke road in Bukkuyum local government area.
A source within the military said “many of them neutralized and several others escaped with gunshot wounds”
“we will finish all the idiots to restore normalcy since they refused to embrace peace, we can’t allow them to continue killing innocent citizens, there days are numbered” the source added
The troops have also captured multiple Motorcycles, many weapons and recovered rustled animals and looted goods.
Sources from the nearby villages says, over 500 bandits were killed “anywhere you look in the bush are corpses of these idiots, glory to Allah it is a huge success ” a resident of the area revealed.
Smarts News gathered that recently troops of the OPHD including air components have intensified their onslaught against bandits and occupying their camps in the thick forest as well as destroying their enclaves.
