A renown islamic scholar in Africa, Sheikh Abubakar Giro Argungu is dead.
A source close to family confirmed the transition to the ‘Media Smarts Nigeria’ saying the deceased was on transit to his hometown Argungu for funeral arrangements
He died at a Medical facility in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, in northwestern Nigeria.
Sheikh Giro was a preacher and official of an islamic organization, Jama’atu Izalatil Bidi’ah wa iqaamatis-sunnah (JIBWIS)
Giro has delivered the words of Allah and his prophet Muhammad S A W in most of the African countries as well as in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other foreign countries.
He died today and his funeral Prayer will be announced later
