Post-Hajj: Kano pilgrims welfare board holds first  board meeting

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board held its first board meeting following the successful conclusion of the Hajj 2024 pilgrimage. The meeting, which took place under the able leadership of the Chairman, Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, was convened to review the recently concluded Hajj operations and to strategize on the way forward for the board.

In his opening remarks, Alhaji Yusif Lawan commended the entire team for their dedication and hard work, which contributed to the successful execution of Hajj 2024. He highlighted the importance of the meeting in assessing the achievements and challenges encountered during the pilgrimage, with a view to enhancing future operations.

The board members engaged in comprehensive discussions on various aspects of the Hajj operations, including transportation, accommodation, and welfare services provided to the pilgrims. The meeting also focused on areas that require improvement and the implementation of new strategies to ensure a more seamless experience for Kano State pilgrims in future Hajj exercises.

In his speech The Director General Kano State pilgrims welfare Board Alh, Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa,

 expressed his gratitude to the  Kano State Government  for their unwavering support, which played a crucial role in the success of Hajj 2024. 

   Alh, Lamin Rabi’u , emphasized the board’s commitment to continually improving the services provided to pilgrims and ensuring that their spiritual journey is as smooth and fulfilling as possible.

The meeting concluded with a resolution to implement the key recommendations discussed and to initiate preparations for Hajj 2025. 

   The board reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining high standards of service delivery and to upholding the welfare of Kano State pilgrims.
