Emir of Kaura Namoda advocates support for orphans, needy

Emir of Kaura Namoda emirate in Zamfara state, Alh. Dr Sanusi Muhammad Ahmad Asha has advocated for support to orphans and other needy to ease their sufferings during the holy month of Ramadan and celebrate Sallah in a joyful manner.

The monarch made the plea today (Wednesday) during a ceremony for distribution of Sallah clothes to one hundred Orphans sponsored by Kaura Namoda youth connect at his Palace

According to him, wealthy individuals, groups and other organizations need to do more for orphans as they loss their parents who cater for their daily needs a situation that pushed many of them into hardships which Islam in courages support for their livelihood.

In his speech, chairman of the Kaura Namoda youth connect, Mubarak Nasiru disclosed that the gesture was part of their determination to support needy in the emirate, saying the orphans were carefully selected from hundreds of thousands orphans.

Mubarak therefore called on other groups to assist the orphans in their own way with a view to alliviating their sufferings and bring socour to their lives.

Readymade clothes were distributed to the orphans through the emir who was accompanied by his council members among other personalities.
