– *The Saudi Supreme Court* confirmed the sighting of the crescent of Shawwal and announced tomorrow Friday as the beginning of Eid.
– Authorities in *United Arab Emirates (UAE)* announced that the Shawwal crescent moon was spotted this evening.
– *Authorities in Turkey* announced that Shawwal Crescent Moon has been sighted. Tomorrow (Friday) is Eid el Fitr in the country.
– Similarly, *Egypt’s Dar Al-Iftaa* has announced Friday, April 21, as the first day of Eid al-Fitr after sighting the crescent of Shawwal month this evening.
– Reports coming from *Asia* indicated that, in countries like *Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Singapore,* sighting the crescent has not been reported, as at the time of filing this update.
