The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Muhammad Matawalle, has donated 50 bags of 50kg rice to the Zamfara State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) as an end-of-year gift.
Presenting the donation on behalf of the minister, his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Maigandi Danmalikin Gidan Goga, stated that the gesture was aimed at supporting the association during their festive celebrations.
Additionally, the minister donated 30 bags of 50kg rice to the Association of Non-Indigenes in Zamfara State. Matawalle urged both associations to continue praying for peace and progress in Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of unity and support during the festive season.
Responding on behalf of their members, the Chairpersons of the associations, Rashidat Abdulaziz and Tajudden Aziz Afolabi, expressed gratitude to the minister for his generosity.
They assured him of their continued prayers for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
