Governor Dauda Lawal has urged the people of Zamfara State to embrace unity and peace as they celebrate Eid al-Fitr.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, congratulated the Muslim community on the successful completion of Ramadan.
He encouraged them to uphold the virtues of sacrifice and devotion observed during the fasting period. Governor Lawal emphasized the need for collective effort to address the challenges facing the state.
He called on residents to set aside differences and work together to support the government’s development agenda. He also appreciated religious and community leaders for their role in promoting peace and harmony.
The governor urged citizens to pray for divine intervention and lasting prosperity in Zamfara and the nation.
“Eid Mubarak,” he concluded.
