The Chairman of Kaura Namoda Local Government Council, Comrade Mannir Mu’azu Haidara, visited Gabaken Mesa community today to sympathize with residents following a recent bandit attack.
The attack claimed one life and led to the abduction of other people.While consoling the victims’ families and the community, Comrade Haidara said his administration, in collaboration with the state government and security agencies, is working hard to tackle the security challenges in the area.
He described the attack as barbaric and prayed for the soul of the deceased and the safe return of the abductees.He also assured the people that the Zamfara State Government under Governor Dauda Lawal remains committed to restoring peace across the state.
Speaking on behalf of the victims’ families, a former councilor of Gabake Ward, Alhaji Sa’adu Abdu, thanked the chairman for the visit and his show of concern.
He prayed for God’s protection and blessings upon his leadership.
