In a ceremony attended by top-ranking personalities in Kaura Namoda, including senior Nigerian Army officers, police, and other paramilitaries, Lieutenant R Muhammad was decorated after his promotion from Second Lieutenant to Lieutenant.
Addressing the gathering, Major AA Hussaini, Commander of Team 2 of Operation Hadarin Daji, praised Lieutenant Muhammad’s agility and dedication, emphasizing that his promotion was based on commendation and approval from the Nigerian Army high command.
Emir of Kaura Namoda, Retired Major Dr. Sanusi Mohammed Ahmed Asha, urged Lieutenant Muhammad and fellow officers to persist in the fight against terrorism and other crimes until normalcy is restored, while also honoring fallen officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of their country.
The Emir recognized the leadership of Brigadier General S Ahmed, Commander of 1 Brigade Nigerian Army Gusau, for his gallantry and leadership in the state, and applauded Major AA Hussaini for his selfless service and commitment to maintaining peace in Kaura Namoda.
Additionally, the Emir commended the Traders Association of Kaura Namoda for their support of security agencies, underscoring the importance of community involvement in fostering a secure environment.
Lieutenant Muhammad was advised to uphold his professionalism and dedication to service, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his military career.
