Governor Dauda Lawal says God will expose and shame those behind the recent attacks and killings by bandits in Zamfara State.
His spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, said the governor made this known in a press statement he released on Wednesday on the governor’s visit to Banga, Sakajiki, Kuryar Madaro, Maguru, and Kyambarawa communities in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area, which were recently attacked.
Governor Dauda condoled with families of the victims and assured the communities of his commitment to protecting lives and property. He condemned the attacks, saying they were meant to instill fear, and urged residents to remain steadfast in prayer.
The Emir of Kauran Namoda, Dr. Sunusi Ahmad, thanked the governor for responding promptly to the tragedy, describing the visit as dear to the people.
Lawal also pledged to improve roads, electricity, water, and mobile services in the affected communities.
