Liverpool thrashed Manchester United, 7-nill in favour of Jurgen Klopp’s side in a super sunday game at Anfield Stadium. MEDIA SMARTS’ SPORTS DESK reported that Cody Gakpo opened the score sheet in the 43rd minute before Darwin Nunez doubled the lead in the 47th minute. Again, Cody Gakpo fired another in the 50th minute.
Mo Salah added his name in the score line in the 66th minute and subsequently Darwin Nunez came up with another in the 75th minute.
Mo Salah found the net again in the 83th minute and finally Roberto Firmino sealed the score sheet for the game in the 88th minute making it 7-0 for “The Reds” at the final whistle blow as “The Red Devils” failed to find the net.
These big 3 points gave Liverpool an opportunity to progress to 5th position with 42 points; while Manchester United remained 3rd position with 49 points on the England Premier League table.
