Sport: Man City overwhelmed RB Leipzig, booked UCL Quarter Finals spot

The England giants, Manchester City thrashed RB Leipzig 7-0 thanks to Erling Haaland sharp strikes of 5 goals and 2 goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.

Recall that Manchester City suffered a setback as they had to settle for a 1-1 draw away to RB Leipzig in their Champions League round-of-16 first leg.

MEDIA SMARTS’ SPORT DESK reported that Manchester City booked their UEFA Champions League Quarter Finals spot by 8-1 aggregate against the German side, RB Leipzig.

With this victory,  Manchester City joins Chelsea to reach the quarter finals from England clubs; while Liverpool plays Real Madrid on Wednesday at Santiago Bernabéu in Spain.

In addition, MEDIA SMARTS’ SPORT DESK reported that FC Porto held Inter Milan on a 0-0 draw on Tuesday, albeit Inter Milan advanced to the quarter finals stage thanks to their 1-0 victory in the first leg match.
