Former governor of Zamfara State and senator representing Zamfara west senatorial district, Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar has donated 38 Bulls, 100 bags of Rice and Thirteen million Naira cash to various centers of clerics in Zamfara north to celebrate this year’s moulud.
The distribution was led by Alh Sani Garba General an APC stalwart who led other faithful of the party to the centers in Kaura Namoda, Birnin Magaji, Shinkafi and Zurmi local government areas respectively as supervised by Lawal M Liman, the chairman, AA Yari political movement.
In an interview with SMARTS NEWS, chairman of the distribution team, Alh Sani General said each of the benefiting centers received 5 bags of 50Kg Rice, N250,000 cash and either two or one Bull to celebrate this year’s moulud joyfully.
Commenting, on behalf of the beneficiaries, Sheikh Atiku Abubakar Maisuna said the gesture was timely and appreciative considering the importance they attached to the maulud celebration by Muslims especially Tijjaniyya and Qadiriyya sects who commemorate the birthday of prophet Muhammad S.A.W.
