The Theatre Commander of the Joint Task Force, Operation Fansan Yamma, Major General Oluyinka Soyele, has reassured the people of Kaura Namoda of enhanced security measures in the area.
During a community engagement at the palace of the Emir of Kaura Namoda, Dr. Sanusi Muhammad Ahmad Asha, on Saturday, Gen. Soyele emphasized the need for collaboration between security forces and residents to maintain peace.
He urged locals to share security-related information, assuring them of confidentiality and responsible action on their reports.
The Emir welcomed the commander’s visit and called for increased security efforts in abandoned villages within the emirate.
He pledged his support for ongoing security operations and encouraged the community to remain vigilant. Following the meeting, Gen. Soyele visited frontline troops at Forward Operating Bases in Badarawa, Shinkafi LGA, and Kaura Namoda.
He praised their dedication and reaffirmed the military’s commitment to combating terrorism and restoring stability in the region.
