Zamfara State Chapter of the rulling party All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended senator Sahabi Ya’u Kaura for Empowering Members of the party in Zamfara North Senatorial District with tricycles, motorcycles and sixty two million Naira cash to start a business.
Chairman of the party Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani who flagged off the distribution in Kaura Namoda on Thursday said, the gesture was timely and apt as it has direct bearing to the grassroots.
The items were distributed to the APC wards Chairmen of the four local areas of the Zamfara North Senatorial District which comprises Kaura Namoda, Birnin Magaji, Shinkafi and Zurmi LGAs respectively as provided by the Senator representing the Zone, Senator Sahabi Alhaji Ya’u.
The APC chairman who was represented at occasion by the Secretary of the party, Hon.Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima said the party was proud of senator Sahabi for his visionary representation and his determination to empower youths, women, major stakeholders and other people even beyond his Senatorial District. Saying such will make a lot of impact at ensuring they became self-reliant and economically stronger.
He further said that the party is proud to be associated with the laudable programmes of Senator Sahabi Ya’u especially at the grassroot where they have direct bearing on the electorate in the state
He pledged continued support and cooperation of the party to his Empowerment Programme and urged him to maintain the tempo.
Hon. Danfulani therefore expressed optimism that, the APC will return victorious in the forthcoming general election at all elective positions in the state considering the effort of governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle in improving the living standards of the state populace.
He advised beneficiaries of the Senator’s Empowerment Programme to appropriately utilise the support in order to assist in addressing their immediate economic and social needs
The Chairman was accompanied by the APC Publicity Secretary, Mallam Yusuf Idris Gusau, Welfare Secretary Alhaji Bashir Idris Ataka, Financial Secretary, Alhaji Hamisu Habibu K/Daji and many Party leaders both at the zonal, local government and wards levels.
