The Court of Appeal, Sokoto Division has affirmed Dauda Lawal as the Gubernatorial Candidate of the peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for 2023 General Election in Zamfara state.
Consequently, the court has set aside the Judgment of the Federal High Court, Gusau Which earlier disqualified Dauda Lawal as PDP gubernatorial candidate.
It could be recalled that Engr Ibrahim Shehu one of the gubernatorial aspirants dragged Dauda Lawal to court for what he termed as irregularities in the PDP gubernatorial primary election.
