Troops of the operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD) have killed a notorious Bandits Kingpin in Zamfara state known as Mai-sange.
Mai-sange was during an encounter with the gallant troops of the joint task force northwest operation Hadarin Daji who were on fighting patrol around Mada axis in Gusau local government area.
Items recovered from the bandits after the encounter included 2 solar panels, one motorcycle, 1 solar battery, 21 cows, 102 goats, sheep’s and Rams
Moreover, ‘Media Smarts Nigeria’ has reliably gathered that 2 suspected collaborators of Mai-sange were also arrested with 47 bags of rice in a lorry (canter) on their way to Mada Market.
It could be recalled that the troops of the OPHD have intensified their onslaught against the marauding bandits by taking war to the Bandits enclaves which resulted to the killing of many bandits, destruction of their camps and dominated Zamfara forest searching for the terrorists.
