Zamfara state police command says its Commutation department was empowered by a philanthropist for enhanced security operations.
In a statement signed and made available to ‘Media Smarts Nigeria’ by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) ASP Yazid Abubakar, the commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Bunu stated this when he received a donation of two high capacity solar batteries from a member of the House of Representatives, representing Gusau/Tsafe federal constituency Kabiru Amadu Mai palace.
CP Bunu who expressed appreciation to the lawmaker for empowering the Communication department of the command said, other stakeholders should emulate the lawmaker in supporting securities to discharge their duties effectively.
He noted that Kabiru Amadu has donated two solar Batteries VT200 with a capacity of 12V/200AH for the Command’s communication unit valued at over N360,000.00 to replace the old ones to support the command in crime fighting and other policing activities.
Muhammed Bunu therefore urged good people of the state to support and cooperate with police and other security agencies in giving vital information to rid the state of all forms of crimes and criminality.
