Eid-el-Fitr: NPF felicitates with Muslims, deploys maximum security in Zamfara

The Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Police Command, CP Kolo Yusuf, reassures the protection of lives and property as he felicitates with Muslim faithful in the state. 

In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, CSP Mohammed Shehu and made available to MEDIA SMARTS NIGERIA today (Thursday), noted that the deploys maximum security to ensure hitch free festivity across the state.

“CP Kolo Yusuf, wishes to felicitate with Muslim Ummah, on the occasion marking  this year’s Eid-el-Fitr Sallah Celebration. 

“The Commissioner of Police assures that,  adequate Security Arrangement has been put in place to ensure hitch free Celebration before, during and after the festivity.”

CSP Shehu revealed the Command partners with other Security Agencies, Religious and Community leaders to conduct peaceful celebration that will be free from any ugly incident across the 14 Local Government Areas of the State.

“Rigorous patrol, stop and search and Joint show of Force have been intensified  to cover vulnerable locations including  praying grounds, recreational centres, Highways and other public places in the state.” the PPRO added.

CP Kolo Yusuf however urged parents and guardians to monitor their children to ensure they don’t involve themselves in any act of criminality.

Meanwhile, Muslim faithful in Nigeria are set to commence the sacred Eid-el-Fitr festivities tomorrow (Friday, April 21) as declared by His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, the Sultan of Sokoto, following the completion of 29-day Ramadan fasting which ended today (Thursday).
