How five daughters of former AG regained freedom in Zamfara after payment of ransom

Five daughters of the former accountant general of Zamfara State regained freedom following payment of a huge amount of ransom to the bandits after over five months in captivity.

Jubilation all over in the country home of the former accountant general (A.G) of Zamfara State as his five children regained freedom after over five months in captivity.

In an interview with SMARTS NEWS Alh. Abubakar Bello Furfuri, the former accountant general of Zamfara state government and the father of the five ladies said they were released after he paid a huge amount of ransom to the terrorists.

“I thanked be to Allah) my children regained freedom. I’m grateful to Allah who saved their lives.

“I paid a huge amount of money before they (Bandits) released them.” the father revealed.

He noted that all the five children were in good condition of health.

The former A.G urged government and other concerned authorities to renew efforts to ensure the safety of citizens.

Meanwhile Zamfara State governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle who received the ladies at government House Gusau rejoiced with the family, congratulated the children and their family for the freedom they regained.
