Synergy: NSCDC ties bond with Police to fight insecurity in Zamfara

The newly posted Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Zamfara State command, Mohammad Bello Muazu has paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, Mr. Kolo Yusuf for familiarisation and tied nut of synergy for better service delivery.

This was contained in a statement made available to SMARTS NEWS by the Civil Defence Public Relations Officer CDPRO, SC Ikor Oche, saying the NSCDC Boss met with CP today (Tuesday) at the Police State Headquarters in Gusau.

“This is in the furtherance of the Commandant MB Muazu’s consolidation of synergy between the Corps and other sister agencies in Zamfara State in the fight against insecurity and other criminal activities”.

Commandant MB Muazu who was warmly received by CP Kolo Yusuf, reiterated the commitment of the Corps to always partner with the Nigeria police for effective service delivery and the maintenance of peace in the state.

The Commandant maintained that, the Corps who is saddled with responsibility of maintaining surveillance and the protection of Critical National Assets and other security activities will rely strongly on the collaboration of the Police  to forestall insecurity and other social vices in Zamfara State.

 Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Kolo Yusuf who extolled the activities of the Corps and synergy enjoyed in the past, has expressed delight and readiness to partner with the  Corps in Order to achieve the needed objectives of effective policing in the state.

CP Kolo Yusuf reiterated that the Police is ever ready to collaborate with the Corps in Zamfara State to fight crime and insecurity to the end.

 The highlights of the visit was the presentation of a plaque in compliment of the Commissioner of police CP Kolo Yusuf to Commandant Mohammad Bello Muazu of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command and a group photograph to mark the visit .
