
Governor Dauda Lawal has approved the appointment of twelve officers as Permanent Secretaries in the Zamfara State civil service to strengthen governance and enhance service delivery.
The Secretary to the State Government, Malam Abubakar Mohammad Nakwada, announced the appointments, stating that they followed due process under the supervision of the Head of the State Civil Service.
The appointees are Muhammad Salihu, Sani Abubakar, Hassan Shehu Usman, Engr. Haruna Dikko, Dr. Abubakar Muhammad, Aminu Almajir, Dr. Yakubu Sanusi, Maryam Shantali, Sa’adatu Abdu Gusau, Suwaiba Ibrahim Barau, Rilwanu Musa, and Sanusi Bello Jabaka.
In a statement signed by Suleman Ahmad Tudu, senior special assistant (media) office of the secretary to the state government, said office of the Head of Service will issue appointment letters, after which onboarding formalities will be completed. Governor Lawal urged the new Permanent Secretaries to leverage their experience to improve productivity in the civil service.
