The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Aminu Sani Jaji as winner for Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji federal constituency in Zamfara state.
While announcing the result on Monday, the Returning Officer of the election, Dr Jibril Helma Mbaya said Jaji of APC polled
50,621 votes to defeat Hon Sani Umar Dan Galadima of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who got 20,438 votes, a difference of 30,183 votes.
Mr Jaji currently serves as the Northwest Director Mobilization for Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, was a former Chairman of Birnin Magaji local government area and has represented Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji federal constituency between 2015 to 2019.
