
The Zamfara State Police Command has carried out the decoration of officers promoted from the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) during a ceremony at the Command Headquarters in Gusau.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abubakar Yazid, the exercise followed the welfare policy of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, which focuses on rewarding hard work and dedication among officers.
Addressing those present, the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba, congratulated the officers and encouraged them to maintain high standards of discipline, professionalism, and commitment in their service to the public.

He stressed that the new ranks come with higher responsibilities, noting that the officers now bear the confidence of the Police institution, the expectations of their senior officers, and the aspirations of those coming behind them.
The Commissioner also commended sister security agencies for their cooperation and support, describing inter-agency collaboration as key to effective security operations in Zamfara State.

Those promoted include CSP Ibrahim Abubakar Abdullahi, CSP Ali Haruna, CSP Samaila Mamman, CSP Abdullahi Abubakar Dass, and CSP Mohammed S. Adamu.
In their remarks, the newly promoted officers expressed appreciation to the Inspector General of Police for his leadership and commitment to professionalism, while assuring that they would continue to serve with diligence and loyalty.

The event was marked with orderliness as the Command reiterated its resolve to sustain excellence and professionalism in policing across the state.
