Ahead of nationwide strike the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Zamfara State chapter has directed all affiliate unions to mobilize members to withdraw services from Wednesday June 7, 2023.
The State Chairperson of the NLC Comrade Sani Haliru who gave the directives today (Monday) during a press briefing at the labour house in Gusau, saying that although industrial action is not healthy for the economy, the NLC was left with no option other than to talk to the leaders with the language they understand better.
He therefore called on workers in the state to support the nationwide industrial action as directed by the National body of the NLC as the last option to force the government to reverse its decision on subsidy removal as it deteriorated the situation in the state.
