The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed April 15 for the conduct of supplementary polls arising from the inconclusive election nationwide.
This was disclosed by the INEC through its verified Facebook page on Monday.
“Arising from its meeting held today, the Independent National Electoral Commission has decided that all outstanding Governorship, National and State Assembly supplementary elections will take place on Saturday 15th April 2023.
A detailed official statement will follow shortly.” the Facebook post read.
The affected constituencies include Adamawa and Kebbi (governorship), 5 Senatorial Districts, 31 Federal and 58 State Assembly constituencies.
