Stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaura Namoda Local government area of Zamfara State have planned a colourful reception of the gubernatorial campaign Flag off scheduled to hold tomorrow (Tuesday)
The stalwarts who met in Kaura Namoda to ensure smooth hosting of the event led by senator Sahabi Alhaji Ya’u have assured a befitting hosting of the event expected to be received by a mammoth crowd of supporters and the party members.
Speaking to journalists shortly after the meeting, Hon. Lawal M. Liman (Gabdon Kaura) who is the chairman, Technical and INEC subcommittee of the gubernotorial campaign council of governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle second bid, said “all is set to host the event in a colourful way”Liman noted that adequate arrangements were made to ensure hitch free and successful flagging off of the campaign.
Similarly, Director General of the campaign council, senator Tijjani Yahaya Kaura disclosed that the campaign flag off will be first of its kind in the history of the state, saying Kaura Namoda Local government was honoured to host the historical event and will reflicate the honour.
On his part, sole administrator, Kaura Namoda Local government council Nasiru Altine Yakamata said, “Kaura Namoda like other local government areas of the state are for APC and the event will vindicate me tomorrow ” He therefore called on all people of the LGA to come out in mass to receive the campaign train of governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle for his reelection for second term.
All the party’s stakeholders in LGA were in attendance during the meeting.
The campaign council for the reelection of Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle is under the chairmanship of former governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.
