Kogunan Gusau Donates 1000 Rams to APC Members in Zamfara

Honourable Muktar Shehu Idris, known as Kogunan Gusau, has donated 1000 rams to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State.

Idris, who was the APC’s candidate in the 2019 Zamfara state election before it was nullified by the Supreme Court, made this donation through Engr. Babangida Abdullahi Gusau, a former chairman of the Gusau local government.

The rams were formally received by the state party secretary, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima Birnin Magaji, who described the gesture as both timely and in line with the party’s commitment to the welfare of its members. He emphasized that Muktar’s consistent support has been pivotal in fostering unity and progress within the party.

“We view Muktar’s repeated assistance as vital contributions to the party’s unity and advancement,” Dangaladima stated, extending the party’s gratitude to Kogunan Gusau on behalf of the chairman and executive members. He also encouraged all party members to emulate the dedication and generosity.

Hon. Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima also acknowledged the efforts of other party leaders, including former Governor Abdulaziz Yari and the current Minister of state for Defense, Hon. Bello Matawalle, in protecting the welfare of APC members in the state.

Former party chairman, Hon. Lawal M Liman Gabdon Kaura, praised Mukhtar Idris for his patriotism and humility, noting that despite the setback in the 2019 general election, Idris has remained loyal to the party and continues to contribute significantly to its success.

During the presentation, Engr. Babangida Abdullahi noted that the donation aimed to bring joy to party members during the Edil El Kabeer celebrations. He detailed that the rams were distributed with 570 allocated to state and local government executives, and 430 to other groups within the party.
