Yari urges youths to shun protest, pray, backs Tinubu’s anti-Insecurity efforts

Former Zamfara State Governor and current Senator representing Zamfara West, Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, has called on Nigerian youths to avoid participating in ongoing protests across the country.

Addressing supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at his residence in Talata Mafara, Senator Yari urged Nigerians to focus on offering special prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the nation instead of engaging in what he termed “unproductive protests.”

He stressed the importance of divine intervention to overcome the economic and security challenges currently facing the country.

Drawing a comparison to nations like Sudan, which have suffered adverse consequences from protests, Yari emphasized that Nigeria’s situation could be improved through collective prayers. He expressed confidence that with divine guidance, the nation’s economic hardship, insecurity, and other pressing issues would be resolved.

The senator also reaffirmed his commitment to combating insecurity, noting that President Tinubu had assured him that the government would continue its aggressive operations against bandits and terrorists until peace is fully restored.

In his speech, Yari, who attracted a large crowd in Talata Mafara, called on the public to pray for peace and stability in Zamfara. He warned that those supporting banditry would face dire consequences and would ultimately fail in their mission against humanity.

Commending President Tinubu’s efforts to address terrorism, banditry, and other serious crimes, Yari expressed optimism that by next year, insecurity would be a thing of the past in Zamfara State.

He urged the people of the state to continue supporting the Tinubu administration to ensure its success.
