As the troops of Operation Hadarin Daji in Northwestern Nigeria sustain an onslaught against bandits several recalcitrant Bandits were killed while others are escaping with serious gunshot wounds and their enclaves/camps were destroyed and dominated by the military.
The joint task force troops of the OPHD have again today (Saturday) conducted operations and cleared popular bandits camps at Dawan Jiya and Tungar Daji Villages under Bagega District of Anka emirate in Zamfara state where they killed scores of Bandits and recovered many firearms.
Media Smarts Nigeria can authoritatively report that the troops are defeating Bandits in their recent operations led by the Commander 1 Brigade Nigerian Army/Operation Hadarin Daji, Zamfara and Sokoto Brig Gen S Ahmed as supported by General officer commanding 8 Division, Sokoto Maj Gen GM Mutkut.
In a scoop obtained by ‘Smarts News’ from a Senior military officer revealed that, the troops have captured 3 AK-47 rifles, magazines, quantity of ammunition, one locally made pistol and one Den gun. Saying motorcycles and bandits camps were destroyed instantly.
It could be recalled that the troops have adopted new strategy of fighting the Bandits which is yielding huge successes as the many of the Bandits are relocating to other neighboring states.
