Police Operatives in Zamfara state have rescued 15 kidnap victims including babies who were kidnapped along Gusau-Tsafe road.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP Shehu Mohammed who revealed this to Newsmen while parading the rescued victims today (Thursday) at the police headquarters in Gusau said they were kidnapped on Monday this week.
According to him, the kidnappers abandoned the victims due pressure by the search and rescue team of the police who went to the Bandits enclaves and rescued the victims.
Radio Nigeria reports that, the rescued victims included 3 mothers and 5 ladies and a 1 year 10 months old baby as well as 7 men.
SP Shehu said, the victims were debrief by the commissioner of Police CP Kolo Yusuf, medically checked by the police medical team and handed over to their family after the press briefing.
