1 Brigade Nigerian Army Celebrates Army Day 2024 with Orphans, Needy in Zamfara

The 1 Brigade Nigerian Army marked the 161st anniversary of the Nigerian Army with a series of humanitarian activities aimed at supporting orphans, less privileged children, pupils, and students in Zamfara State. The event, part of the Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL) 2024, underscores the Army’s dedication to civil-military cooperation.

Led by Brigadier General Sani Ahmed, the Brigade Commander, the Army distributed medical consumables, writing materials, clothing, and footwear to approximately 400 orphans and needy individuals. The initiative also provided exercise books, pencils, and pens to students across eleven primary and secondary schools in Gusau metropolitan area.
