A devastating accident in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State, has claimed the lives of six family members in a fatal collision between a trailer and a motorcycle.
The tragic incident, which occurred on Sunday, threw the local community into shock and mourning.
According to eyewitness Zayyanu Muhammad, both the trailer and the motorcyclist were speeding along a road under construction near the Water Board office in Gusau. “The man riding the motorcycle, along with his entire family, attempted to overtake the trailer. Unfortunately, he lost control and collided with the trailer, which crushed them all,” he recounted.
The victims, which included the father, mother, an infant, and two other children, were pronounced dead upon arrival at the Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital in Gusau.
