The Development Finance Office of the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN, Gusau Branch has received an award, in recognition for its contributions in the area of job creation in Zamfara state by the Nigeria labour congress, NLC.
During the presentation of the award at the Workers day celebration the NLC said the award was to appreciate the CBN’s contributions in Zamfara state especially in providing job opportunities through its schemes and other CBN programmes aimed at empowering citizens.
Receiving the award Mr Bashir Garba Head, Development Finance Office, DFO, Gusau Branch said the Apex Bank will continue to work professionally inline with it’s mandates to promote and sustain economic development in Nigeria.
Speaking earlier, NLC Chairperson comrade Sani Halliru disclosed that, the NLC will continue to recognize those who excel in their various organizations to encourage effective service delivery in the state.
