Gov Dauda Inaugurates NSCDC Agro Rangers Consolidation Squad in Zamfara

The Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Dr. Dauda Lawal, officially inaugurated the Agro Rangers Consolidation Squad in a bid to bolster security and peace in rural areas of the state.

The inauguration ceremony which took place in Gusau was organized by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Zamfara State Command under the leadership of Commandant Sani Mustapha.

During the event, Commandant Sani Mustapha praised the Agro Rangers for their bravery and dedication during a recent one-month refresher training. 

“This training aimed to prepare the squad for comprehensive operational activities, emphasizing their role in maintaining peace and security in the state’s hinterlands and mediating between farmers and herders.” Commandant revealed.

Governor Dauda Lawal, who dressed in the Agro Rangers uniform, commended the Corps for their unwavering commitment to combating insecurity and crime across Zamfara State. He urged the Rangers to remain resilient and steadfast in their efforts to restore lasting peace.

In his address, Governor Lawal assured full support for the NSCDC, emphasizing the importance of the Agro Rangers in achieving stability and security in the region.
