Kebbi State Governor Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris has approved the appointment and composition of the following Chairmen and Board Members of the State’s institutions and parastatals.
This is contained in a Press Statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Yakubu Bala-Tafida and made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Monday.
According to the statement , the names of the Chairmen and their Board Members are as follows,
State Emergency Management Agency ,SEMA,Bello Yakubu (Rilisco) from Birnin Kebbi Local Government as the Chairman while members of the board are Hon. Halima Muhammad Masama, Gwandu , Sarkin Samarin Zango, Zuru , Alhaji Muntari Sarki Jega, Alhaji Abu Manager,Yauri and Hon. Shehu Bagudu Dalijan,Gwandu.
Kebbi State University of Science and Technology Aliero has Dr. Haliru Bala from Birnin Kebbi Local Government as the Chairman while members are Prof. Sa’adu Birnin Yauri, Yauri, Isiyaku Abdullahi,Zuru,Sarkin Kabin Jega Alhaji Arzika Karaye, Jega.
Others are Prof. Bello Umar Jega , DCG Sambo Gwandu, Gwandu, Musa Altine Aljannare, Suru, Permanent Secretary Ministry for Higher Education,Permanent. Secretary Min. of Justice , the Vice Chancellor, DVC Academics, DVC Admin , DVC Research, 4 No. Senate Reps., 2 No. Reps. of Congregation, Rep. of NUC, Registrar and Secretary.
Adamu Augie College of Education Argungu has Dr. Hussaini Kangiwa from Arewa as the Chairman and the members are Sa’adu Ibrahim Nomau, Maiyama, Alh. Suleiman Bunu Sarkin Dabai, Zuru, Prof. Yusuf Bazata, Zuru, Sarkin Shikon Kamba, Dandi, Alh. For Kebbi state Contributory Pension Board, Hassan Mohammed Shallah Gwandu is the Chairman, while Kebbi State Rent Tribunal has Nasiru Danta Buzuwa Birnin Kebbi as the Chairman while Kebbi State Fiscal Responsibility Commission has Balarabe Abdulmumini, Birnin Kebbi as the new Chairman.
According to the statement,all the appointments are with immediate effect.
The SSG charged the appointees to be dedicated and faithful to their official duties.
