A House of Representatives Member-elect for Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency, Taraba State, Ismaila Yushau Maihanchi is dead.
Reports had it that Maihinchi died in the early hours of today (Saturday) after a brief illness.
A member of the deceased’s family confirmed the incident and his funeral prayer will be held today at the National Mosque in Abuja after noon prayers today (Saturday).
Late Maihinchi emerged winner and returned elected in the just concluded 2023 general elections under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Meanwhile, the Lawmaker-elect is reportedly survived by a wife and a son.
